THE BAROQUE ORCHESTRA
	The BAROQUE ENSEMBLE was formed in 1989 out of the necessity for an orchestra able to perform earlier musical works with musicians specialised only in that musical style.
The orchestra began with string musicians under instruction of the violinists A. Mato and Vl. Chalapsis. Wind instruments were added later on and instruction was undertaken by flutist S. Gadedi and clarinettists S. Delaporta and T. Kerkezos. These were soon joined by the soloists of Oratorio-Lied repertoire.The orchestra was completed in 1993 with a choir of 20 members and Michel Bichsel as choir-master. The orchestra is instructed and conducted by Louli Psychouli.
